The Biden administration passes the buck by blaming everything except its own anti-energy agenda, but we need an all-of-the-above approach to our energy policy to keep prices down. As Ranking Member of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee of the House Natural Resources Committee, I am leading House Republican efforts to end the Biden energy ban and lower dependence on foreign oil and gas. My legislation would rebuild American energy production, require the timely issuance of permits to develop energy and approve pipelines, end Biden's regulatory attacks on energy producers, and lower skyrocketing gas prices so that Utahns aren't suffering from Biden's executive overreach. Limiting U.S. energy development and leaning on foreign countries to produce and sell energy is not environmentally friendly; it puts our environment, economy, and national security at risk.
