State Sen. Liz Mathis just happened to be campaigning for the U.S. House of Representatives in Iowa Falls on June 24, the day the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade sending abortion laws back to individual states – and she wasn’t happy about it. 

“Most of us, the women in here have only known that since 1973,” she told a group of about 40 at the Coffee Attic. “You’ve had reproductive rights and access to health care, like abortion. Now, our daughters will not have that same access and I’m upset.
