Liz Mathis, state senator and U.S. Congressional candidate for Iowa’s 2nd district held a grand opening of her Linn County Campaign Headquarters yesterday. Linn County Democrats and Liz Mathis for Congress are co-sharing the headquarters located at 850 1st Ave. NE in Cedar Rapids. The headquarters spring hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Supporters are invited to stop by to sign up for volunteer opportunities and gather campaign materials.
