I believe the decisions a woman makes for her body, and her family are deeply personal and politicians have no place telling her what she can and cannot do. For nearly 50 years, the right to choose was protected by the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade, but today that right is gone – the first time that the Supreme Court has ever taken away a personal right. This is a horrific outcome for Nebraska women, who’s right to choose hangs by a thread.

In Congress, I’ll vote to preserve the ability of Nebraska women to make the reproductive health decisions that are best for them.

My opponent, Rep. Don Bacon, has shown that he’ll do the opposite as he currently co-sponsors a bill to criminalize and ban all abortions nationwide, even in cases of rape, incest, and when the life of the mother is at risk. We can’t let that happen.
