The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has awarded Congressman John Moolenaar its Guardian of Small Business Award for 2022. The award is presented to lawmakers who consistently fight for policies that will benefit small businesses.

"It is an honor to receive this recognition from NFIB. Small businesses are a vital part of Michigan’s rural communities and they represent the hardworking spirit of America,” said Moolenaar. "I will always work to promote policies that help Michigan small businesses grow and serve their customers. This includes addressing energy costs, fighting inflation, cutting taxes, and getting rid of burdensome regulations.”

The NFIB has been advocating for small and independent businesses across the country for over 75 years. There are over 10,000 small businesses in Michigan that are members of the NFIB.
