This Saturday is National Hunting and Fishing Day, celebrating America’s outdoor heritage and wildlife conservation. Congressman John Moolenaar is supporting legislation recognizing Saturday as the 50th anniversary of National Hunting and Fishing Day, which has been marked on the fourth Saturday of every September since 1972.

"Michigan families have participated in hunting and fishing for generations and this legislation celebrates our nation’s outdoor heritage,” said Moolenaar. "I am proud to support this legislation as it makes clear that Congress stands with America’s hunters and anglers."
