Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) released the following statement after the Biden Administration announced an expansion of the Community Health Centers Vaccination Program:

“I applaud President Biden’s expansion of the Community Health Centers vaccination program. By inviting an additional 700 centers across the country to participate in this program, the President is ensuring lifesaving vaccines are available to underserved and vulnerable populations that have been disproportionately impacted by this pandemic. I’ve been working to ensure that Community Health Centers in New Jersey receive additional vaccine doses directly from the federal government. I am pleased that four centers in my district have received invitations to participate in the expanded vaccine program.”

Pallone advocated for the creation of the vaccination program and worked with the Biden Administration to further expand the program and ensure additional centers in New Jersey would become eligible. The following centers in New Jersey’s 6th Congressional District have received invitations to participate in the vaccine program:

●Jewish Renaissance Medical Center, Perth Amboy

●Eric B. Chandler Health Center, Rutgers University, New Brunswick

●Jewish Renaissance Foundation, Perth Amboy

●Monmouth Family Center, Long Branch

Issues: Health Care, New Jersey
