WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Tuesday, July 27, 2021, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) released the following statement:

“This hateful display of antisemitism, reportedly nearby our own federal government's office to fight such things, is extremely disturbing, repugnant, and simply un-American.

It is critical that a U.S. Ambassador-at-Large to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism be immediately named.

I am confident Secretary of State Blinken is committed to confronting the rising trend of hate, antisemitism, and xenophobia against ethnic and religious groups — Jewish, Christian, Muslim, or otherwise.”
