Long Branch, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today hosted a telephone town hall with over 3,600 constituents in New Jersey’s 6th Congressional District. Last week, the House passed the Inflation Reduction Act that included provisions from Pallone’s Energy and Commerce Committee to lower drug prices for seniors, reduce health care costs, and combat climate change and greenhouse gas emissions. It also includes an unprecedented $2.6 billion to conserve and restore coastal habitats with living shoreline projects and protect coastal communities like the ones along the Jersey Shore. Pallone also spoke about the CHIPs and Science Act that will boost American semiconductor manufacturing and supply chains.

“Hearing directly from my constituents allows me to be a better advocate and legislator,” Congressman Pallone said. “In Congress, I’m leading the way to lower prescription drug and health care costs, invest in clean energy jobs, lower energy costs, and create good-paying American jobs. I also provided an update on the funding my district will receive to repair and improve infrastructure in Monmouth County. I’m grateful for everyone who joined me tonight to ask questions and share their concerns.”
