Long Branch, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today hosted a telephone town hall with over 3,200 constituents in New Jersey’s 6th Congressional District. This summer, Pallone has hosted four teletown halls with over 14,000 constituents. Last week, President Biden signed into law the Inflation Reduction Act that included provisions from Pallone’s Energy and Commerce Committee to lower drug prices for seniors, reduce health care costs, and combat climate change and greenhouse gas emissions. The law also includes an unprecedented $2.6 billion to conserve and restore coastal habitats with living shoreline projects and protect coastal communities like the ones along the Jersey Shore. Pallone also spoke about the CHIPs and Science Act that will boost American semiconductor manufacturing and supply chains.

“Hearing directly from my constituents allows me to be a better advocate and legislator,” Congressman Pallone said. “In Congress, I helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act that lower prescription drug and health care costs, invest in clean energy jobs, lower energy costs, and create good-paying American jobs. I also provided an update on the funding my district will receive to repair and improve infrastructure in New Jersey. I’m grateful for everyone who joined me tonight to ask questions and share their concerns.”
