Residents Are Encouraged to Nominate a Hero That Has Inspired Them

Parsippany, NJ–– Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) announced today the launch of her "2021 Heroes" recognition program. Rep. Sherrill is calling on residents to nominate someone who has been a hero to them during the pandemic and has made a significant difference in their community, but who may not have received the recognition they deserve.

Residents can nominate someone by filling out the form linked below. In the form, we ask that you share why you think your hero should be recognized and to provide your hero's address so that if they are selected, we can mail them their certificate.

2021 Hero nominees must live or work in NJ-11.

Nominations will be accepted beginning today and ending Thursday, December 16.

"There are so many heroes across the district who have supported members of our community during these difficult times by being a leader, a great inspiration, or caretaker," said Rep. Sherrill. "This is an excellent opportunity to remind our everyday heroes — whether they are teachers, healthcare providers, first responders, family members, volunteers or others who have impacted your life in a positive way— that our community is incredibly grateful for their dedication."

The form to nominate a 2021 Hero can be found here.
