Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) congratulated Ceasar Diaz for winning the 2022 Congressional Art Competition in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District with his artwork titled “Sweet Corn Days.” Ceasar is a senior at Estherville Lincoln Central High School in Estherville, Iowa.
Feenstra also announced two runners-up – Jalyn Struble from West Monona High School and Amy Huang from Estherville Lincoln Central High School – whose artwork will be displayed in his Sioux City and Fort Dodge district offices respectively. Jalyn’s artwork is titled “Lost in the Loess Hills” and Amy’s artwork is titled “Youth on the Horizon.”
“I am excited to announce that Ceasar Diaz from Estherville Lincoln Central High School is the winner of this year’s 2022 Congressional Art Competition in the 4th District,” said Rep. Feenstra. “His artwork titled ‘Sweet Corn Days’ is the perfect depiction of our delicious sweet corn and picturesque cornfields in Iowa. I appreciate all the talented students – including our two runners-up Amy and Jalyn – who participated in this year’s competition, and I look forward to seeing all their art displayed in the Capitol and my district offices very soon.”
