Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) announced that Riley Jergens, Jagaar Halverson, and Ian Latham – all of whom grew up in the 4th District – started as interns in his Washington, D.C. office on Monday May 16th.

“I’m excited to welcome Riley, Jagaar, and Ian to my team this summer,” said Rep. Feenstra. “Interning in a congressional office is a great way to experience firsthand how our government functions and work on behalf of the folks of the 4th District. I look forward to working with them as they take part in our representational form of government.”

“I am delighted to intern for Congressman Feenstra and appreciate the opportunity,” said Riley Jergens. “I’ve been interested in government, especially at the federal level, for a long time. Getting to work with Congressman Feenstra and serve my home district in Washington D.C. is a dream come true.”

“I am excited to be in our nation’s capital this summer and have the opportunity to intern for our congressman and his staff,” said Jagaar Halverson. “It has been a dream of mine to learn more about and serve in the district where I grew up. I have known Congressman Feenstra for a few years now and I feel blessed to be a part of a team that delivers for Iowans every day.”

“Growing up in Iowa's 4th District has driven my passion for policy,” said Ian Latham. “I am honored to be working in Congressman Randy Feenstra's office during the first session of summer internships. I am excited to learn more about agricultural policy, work alongside Team Feenstra, and serve the people of the 4th District.”
