Congressman Fleischmann Announces 2022 Congressional App Challenge

Today, Representative Chuck Fleischmann (TN-03) announced his participation in the annual Congressional App Challenge. Middle and high school students from across Tennessee’s Third Congressional District are invited to enter. The Congressional App Challenge is a yearly competition that allows students to submit their app to be judged by an expert panel.

The challenge is open to any middle and high school students interested in STEM, computer science, and coding. Students can register today for the Congressional App Challenge by visiting their online application portal.

“Getting the next generation of Tennesseans involved in computer science, technology and coding is critical for our state to remain on the cutting edge of innovation. I am excited to see what students across our community create with their talent and ingenuity!” said Rep. Fleischmann.

Important Dates:

  • November 1 — Deadline for students to register and submit their app online.
  • December 1 - December 31 — Winners announced.
