U.S. Representative Chuck Fleischmann (TN-03) made the following statement commemorating Memorial Day.
“The Book of Proverbs tells us that ‘the memory of the righteous is blessed.’ That is true of every man and woman of our armed services who gave the last full measure of devotion to our nation from the Revolutionary War to today’s fight in the Global War on Terror. We honor our fallen heroes this Memorial Day and make the solemn vow never to forget their sacrifice and uphold the values of individual freedom and liberty they died to protect.”
