Congresswoman Julia Letlow (LA-05) today announced that Rachel Perez Milam will be joining her team as Grants and Special Projects Manager. In this new role, Milam will primarily connect municipalities, educational institutions, and local groups with federal grant opportunities and help guide them through the application and awarding process.
“I’m excited to have Rachel join our team and fill this critical role,” Letlow said. “In the Fifth District, our communities have countless needs, and it has always been my top priority to help them find federal resources. Rachel joins our team with a wealth of knowledge and the experience that will be able to deliver results.”
Milam most recently served as Southeast Regional Director for U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy. Her experience includes 18 years as a staffer in the Senate, where she served as a key constituent services contact and led numerous community outreach initiatives and coalition building efforts.
