WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) visited Mason County, where she stopped at Bob's Market & Greenhouses, Inc. Since 1970, Bob's Market & Greenhouses, Inc. has produced fresh produce and plants from 23 acres of greenhouses in Mason, West Virginia.
Congresswoman Miller also toured the Marshall University Mid-Ohio Valley Center, which offers core courses and specialized programs during the day and evening to serve accelerated high school students, traditional college-age students, and adults who have returned to school.
"West Virginia is happening, and Mason County exemplifies that," said Congresswoman Miller. "From businesses like Bob's Market, which has been serving the region for decades, to an education hub like the Mid-Ohio Valley Center, there is no shortage of opportunity here. I appreciate everything both of these organizations are doing to help make Mason County a wonderful place to get an education, start a business, and set down roots."
"Bob's Market & Greenhouses Inc. was very excited to host the honorable Congresswoman Carol Miller at our main production facility in Mason," said Scott Barnitz, Bob's Market & Greenhouses, Inc. Vice President. "We thoroughly enjoyed the time as well as the conversation and updates on the Congresswoman's progress in Washington D.C. Bob's Market appreciates all that she has done for the state of West Virginia, and wishes her only the best going forward."
"It was an honor to host Congresswoman Miller at the Mid-Ohio Valley Center," said Sheila Fields, Interim Director of the Marshall University Mid-Ohio Valley Center. "We appreciate her work and dedication to our state."
