When Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is confirmed, little Black girls everywhere will be able to see themselves as a Supreme Court Justice. Judge Jackson will bring much-needed diversity of identity, perspective, and experience to the Supreme Court bench. Even more, Judge Jackson brings a commitment to protecting our constitutional rights, especially reproductive and voting rights. Judge Jackson is one of the country’s best legal minds and she deserves a fair and timely hearing in the Senate.
