Today, February 22nd, 2022, Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-02) released the following statement on Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds being selected to deliver the Republican response to President Biden’s State of the Union address on March 1st:
“Governor Reynolds’ leadership in Iowa over the last few years allowed our communities to successfully manage the pandemic. Our businesses, economy, and schools stayed open and gave other states a plan to follow to stay safe. There is no better executive in the United States to show how to fight for the average American than Governor Reynolds and I look forward to hearing her remarks."
