Today, March 1st, 2022, Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-02) released the following statement after Governor Kim Reynolds gave the Republican response to President Biden’s State of the Union Address:
“Tonight, Governor Reynolds provided an excellent contrast to President Biden’s speech. For the last few years, Governor Reynolds’ leadership has allowed Iowa to lead the way. Opening schools, lowering taxes, giving parents a say in their children’s education, supporting farmers, allowing our businesses to stay open, and keeping Iowans healthy have made our state a blueprint for success for the rest of the country. There truly is no better Governor in the country than Kim Reynolds, and now the rest of the country knows why.”
