Today, Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) released the following statement after the Supreme Court failed to stop a Texas abortion ban from taking effect early this morning:
"The failure of the Supreme Court to stop Texas's extreme abortion ban undermines Roe v. Wade and gives a green light to politicians who are working to restrict reproductive rights," said Congressman Pappas. "If the Supreme Court won't protect Roe then Congress and pro-choice state legislators must do all we can to safeguard the right to choose and access to reproductive health care."
