Today, Tim Ryan’s campaign for U.S. Senate announced it raised $506,178 during the pre-primary filing period.

In the two weeks since the campaign closed out its record-breaking $4.1 million Q1, Tim Ryan earned the support of more than 3,000 new donors, with an average online contribution of $35.20. 97% of donations were $100 or less.

“As the GOP Senate candidates continue to pump millions of their own dollars into tearing one another now and trying to distract from their extreme and out-of-touch views, it’s clear that Tim’s relentless focus on the very real challenges facing Ohio workers is resonating across the state,” said Tim Ryan for Ohio spokesperson Izzi Levy. “With Primary Day just around the corner, we couldn’t be prouder of the strong and growing grassroots team that has powered our campaign since day one.”

In addition to his strong fundraising, Tim has secured the endorsement of the Cleveland.com/Plain Dealer and Elyria Chronicle Telegram editorial boards. He has also been endorsed by Senator Sherrod Brown and Congresswomen Joyce Beatty and Marcy Kaptur, as well as two dozen labor unions and the Ohio AFL-CIO, nearly 250 state and local elected officials, and Democratic leaders and activists in every corner of Ohio.
