The Baptist Ministerial Alliance of Columbus and Vicinity endorsed Tim Ryan for U.S. Senate in Ohio today.
“The Baptist Ministerial Alliance is pleased to endorse Tim Ryan for U.S. Senate today,” said Baptist Ministerial Alliance of Columbus and Vicinity President Jonathan Morehead. “For too long, Black Ohioans have too often been left behind by politicians in Washington. That has to end with this election. It’s time for us to have a voice in the room and at the decision-making table as we work to make sure our government works for our communities and our congregants.”
Tim has a strong record of fighting for equality and justice and reinvesting in communities so that every Ohioan can get back on their feet. As a member of Congress, Tim has voted for legislation to protect and restore access to the ballot box, invest in high-quality public education, and make it easier for minority business owners to access resources they need to compete and succeed.

Today’s endorsement comes as Tim has worked to earn the support of Black leaders across Ohio. As he continues to campaign across the state, Tim is committed to regularly engaging with Black voters and highlighting how he will fight for those who have too often been left behind and taken for granted in Washington.
