MEUSER ANNOUNCES FEDERAL GRANTS FOR FIRE STATIONS IN THE NINTH DISTRICT

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Today, Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09) announced that the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded a total of $722,583.50 in AFG grants to the Mifflin Township Forest Rangers & Fire Co. No. 1, Mcadoo Fire Company, Earl Township Volunteer Fire Company No 1, and Good Intent Fire Company through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program.

INDIVIDUAL GRANT AWARDS:

  • Mifflin Township Forest Rangers & Fire Co. No. 1 will receive $8,452.38 for operations and safety.
  • Mcadoo Fire Company will receive $134,071.43 for operations and safety.
  • Earl Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 will receive $246,726.36 for operations and safety.
  • Good Intent Fire Company will receive $333,333.33 for vehicle acquisition.
