On September 23, Congressman Chris Pappas issued the following statement after voting to pass legislation to provide additional funding to our ally Israel for the Iron Dome defense system:
"The Iron Dome defense system protects both Israelis and Palestinians from indiscriminate rocket attacks, saving lives and protecting property when terrorists launch attacks against innocent civilians. I will continue to stand with our ally Israel and make good on the United States' pledge of security assistance through this funding."
