Rep. Mark Green will host his fourth annual Service Academy Day at Franklin High School on Saturday, September 10th, from 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM. The formal program will begin at 11:00 AM.
“It’s a great joy when I have the opportunity to speak with young Tennesseans interested in attending a Service Academy,” said Rep. Green. “I’ll never forget my own nomination process. Attending West Point was a great honor, and my time there led me to a lifetime of service. I look forward to meeting these bright students.”
Representatives from the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Naval Academy will be in attendance, as well as representatives from Army, Navy, and Air Force ROTC. A representative from the Department of Defense Medical Evaluation Review Board will also be in attendance.
This event is open to the public including students, parents, teachers, guidance counselors, and those interested in learning more about the Service Academy nomination process.
