MIDLAND PARK, NJ — This week, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) honored outgoing Midland Park Councilman Bob Sansone with a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol, to recognize his six years of service to North Jersey. 

He was joined by Mayor Harry Shortway, Councilman Jerry Iannone, Councilman Kenneth Kruis, Councilwoman Lorraine DeLuca, Councilwoman Nancy Cronk Peet, Councilman Lorenzo Damiano, and Councilman Keith DeBlasio.

“Over Bob’s six years as Councilman, he made a truly positive impact on our community and on North Jersey. He did what an elected representative should always do: he listened and committed himself to making a difference wherever he could,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “He has always gotten the backs of our first responders, serving as liaison to the police department and Department of Public Works and, for that, and so much more, I thank him for his service.
