Governor Polis Takes Action in Response to COVID-19 Pandemic

DENVER - Governor Polis took action in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Governor Polis amended and extended an Executive Order related to the state’s disaster recovery efforts. The amendments remove provisions related to the Department of Motor Vehicles, remove provisions related to rental assistance for residential tenants, suspend certain State Personnel Board Rules to enable the State to expedite the pre-disciplinary process for State certified employees who are out of compliance with the State’s COVID-19 vaccination requirement for agency staff members and other state employees that interact with vulnerable populations and populations living in congregate living settings, and direct the Colorado Department of Education to share certain student data with the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) to aid CDPHE in protecting the health and safety of our student population in the wake of rising cases in our schools.
