DENVER - Governor Jared Polis today ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff on all public buildings from sunrise until sunset on Friday, November 5, 2021, in honor of Joes Fire Department Firefighter Larry Wyant who passed away October 26, 2021, battling a fire in a cornfield when winds shifted.
Funeral services for Firefighter Wyant will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Joes Fire Station.
