My prayers are with the people of Haiti at this especially turbulent time. The assassination of President Moïse was a heinous act of violence and a deeply concerning breach of security. There is an immediate need for transparency and thorough investigation. I support the United States and the Biden administration in efforts to assist the people of Haiti as they seek a just and democratic government focused on the peace and prosperity of the Haitian people.
