Earl Blumenauer: The road to the majority runs through Oregon, and we need your help

We only have 46 days until the historic 2022 election. So much is at stake, starting with no less than the future of our democracy. We also need to continue the federal fight to restore full reproductive freedom in the United States, accelerate the clean energy future, and expand protections against gun violence.

To move these priorities forward, Democrats must retain control of Congress. We need to maintain control of the House of Representatives, and add two seats to our Senate majority.

The road to the majority runs through Oregon:

  • We have three women who are facing competitive congressional House races in Oregon: Val Hoyle, Jamie McCleod-Skinner, and Andrea Salinas.
  • We must re-elect Senator Ron Wyden.
  • To ensure that Oregon maintains the strongest protections for reproductive freedom in the country, we must elect Tina Kotek as governor, Christina Stephenson as labor commissioner, and Democrats in the state legislature and in local races.
Fortunately Democrats have a lot of experience winning tough elections in Oregon. Our strategy works when we turn thoughts into action, roll up our sleeves, and volunteer. With "people power" we can cut through the MAGA rhetoric and turn voters out for Election Day.

This is where you come in. Volunteers are needed right now to make a difference on Election Day. With your help, we will win. You can volunteer on weekdays, evenings, or weekends. You could knock on doors, call voters (from a Democratic office or your own home), or help us mail information to voters!

Click here to sign up and you'll receive a call to discuss the best way for you to pitch in.

This is an "all-hands-on-deck" moment. By pitching in a shift or two over the next few weeks, you will help us mobilize voters and secure Democratic victories in November.

If you already know how you would prefer to volunteer, click here and sign up for a shift!

Thank you for your help. I look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail soon.
