We have two issues that are leading to a degradation of these things which I have plans to address as your Congressman.
The Federal Government is too big. Tell me what your problems is, and I will explain to you how that problems either stems from, or is exacerbated by the US Federal Government being too big.
“Community” has stopped being the main focus of our lives and our government. The United States of America was founded with the Citizens being in charge, and Communities being the first building block of the government. We must rebuild community in this country, nor only geographically, but in our hearts. People need to reach out and communicate with their direct neighbors. HUMANS need stop claiming that they are part of some “community” that is actually a small disjointed group of people that claim similar characteristics from various places across the nation. There are 20 Constitutional Act and Amendments that basically say you can not group humans into a Community in that way. Those are actually “clubs,” or “political groups.” We need “REAL” community with Humans interacting in person discussing what affects them in their specific geographic location.
These things are very closely tied together, and are the root of nearly all issues we see in America today. They are also very intertwined. Large Government weakens Community, and weak Community allows Government to increase in size. The Government then starts to take control things that should be the focus of the Community (or State or County, or City). Things like caring for those in need, or keeping streets and parks clean. As more of Community’s work is done by the Large Government, it begins to wane and become weak. Eventually Community becomes virtually non-existent. “The People” are the solution to this. We must rebuild our “Communities” (as the first building block of government) and take our destinies back from the Federal Government.
We also know that our individual Communities vary in many ways. Cities, Counties and States also vary widely in culture, industry, recreation, crime rates and more. It makes little sense to have a centralized entity deciding what happens in your community. That is why you need to Rise Up and have a voice in your Community, City, County and State. My intention is to help you gain and use that voice to help form and direct this great nation as the Founding Fathers intended.
These two items are the Root Cause of all issues facing the United States today. They are also the Root Cause of nearly every problem we face as individuals. People generally only consider that which is affecting them directly. Making rules, or laws in an attempt to change the hot issues is only attacking “symptoms.” Only by getting down to the basics and attacking the Root Cause can you eliminate the real problem.
