WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) announced that he will be holding two telephone town halls this month to provide updates on COVID-19 vaccine distribution. The first telephone town hall to be held Tuesday, February 16th at 5:30pm, will focus on efforts in Burlington County. The second town hall, to be held Monday, February 22nd at 5:30pm, will focus on efforts in Ocean County. These will be the Congressman's 30th and 31st town hall since he was sworn into office in January 2019.
Congressman Kim will be joined on February 16th by representatives from the Burlington County Health Department, Virtua Health, and the Department of Veteran Affairs. He will be joined on February 22nd by representatives from the Ocean County Health Department.
"Our top priority now as a government is to make sure you have access to a safe and effective vaccine as quickly as possible," said Congressman Kim. "My team and I have gotten a lot of questions from our neighbors across Burlington and Ocean Counties on when it will be their turn. I would encourage everyone to join our town hall on Tuesday and promise I will be working as hard as possible to provide our state every resource to get you vaccinated as quickly as we can."
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Congressman Kim has held multiple town halls to keep residents of Burlington and Ocean Counties informed on ongoing efforts to end the pandemic, including town halls on vaccine distribution, vaccine development, and increasing preparedness.
