Amy Ryan Courser is a local businesswoman and community servant. She is the President of A.R.C. Consulting and understands what it means to sign the front of a paycheck, putting employees first. Courser is a published author and international speaker.
For the last 30 years, Amy has been a community servant. She has given her time to multiple boards, coaching sports, mentoring youth, and countless fundraisers. Amy has been a sports official for 25 years. She is proud of creating many programs benefiting the community, especially Keizer Cares, helping women, the homeless, and local police. One of her proudest accomplishments is founding the Salem and Keizer Chamber Business Women's Networking group.
In 2014 Amy was elected by an overwhelming majority 5/1 to the Keizer City Council where she served her city from 2015-2018. During her tenure, she was a champion for local businesses and multiple community improvement projects. She is very proud of hiring 5 new police officers all without raising taxes and the creation of over 1000 jobs!
She was honored to have a seat at the table for important regional decisions regarding emergency management, law enforcement, the homeless crisis, and infrastructure to name a few. Amy served for years as an integral member of the city of Keizer Budget Committee.
Amy is a strong balance of compassion and common sense. She is results-oriented both to hold the government accountable with the ability to focus on getting things done.
