Governor Polis Statement on Passing of Former Supreme Court Justice Gregory Hobbs

DENVER - Governor Jared Polis released a statement upon the passing of former Colorado Supreme Court Justice Gregory Hobbs. 

“Justice Hobbs was a master of water law, a mentor to many Coloradans in the water community who relied on his expertise, and the impact of his work will continue to be felt across our state for years to come. I send my deepest condolences to his family and friends.”

Hobbs was appointed to the Colorado Supreme Court by Governor Roy Romer in 1996 and retired from the bench in 2015.
