WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) announced that he will be holding a telephone town hall on Tuesday, April 20th at 8pm to discuss ongoing efforts to help get New Jerseyans back to work as our state recovers from the still ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Residents of Burlington and Ocean Counties can sign up for the telephone town halls on the Congressman's website by clicking here.

"This has been a tough year and getting vaccines to people isn't enough to get us through this. We need to get people back to work," said Congressman Kim. "Whether it's supporting our small businesses through the Paycheck Protection Program or building opportunities through rebuilding our infrastructure, there is no recovery without jobs. That's why I'm holding this town hall to provide an update on what I'm doing in Congress, and to hear from you about what more needs to be done to get New Jerseyans back to work."

Congressman Kim will be joined by Anna Payanzo Cotton, Vice President of the Workforce Development Institute of Rowan College at Burlington County, to discuss career training and placement programs in New Jersey.

The town hall comes as efforts through the American Rescue Plan, passed by Congressman Kim, continue to support small businesses and job creators in order to get Americans back to work. Congressman Kim will also provide an update on efforts in Congress to pass an infrastructure and jobs bill that would bring much needed investments in New Jersey's roads, bridges, rail and 21st century infrastructure like broadband internet, and would create good-paying jobs in the process.

Congressman Kim is a member of the House Armed Services Committee, the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Committee on Small Business. More information about Congressman Kim can be found on his website by clicking here.
