Today, April 12th, 2022, Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-02) released the following statement after the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ March report showed an 8.5% increase in the Consumer Price Index, the highest since 1981:

“Another month, another record inflation number. While Americans continue to pay higher prices at the pump and in the store, the Biden Administration insists on spending away Iowans’ tax dollars, which only increases inflation. This is irresponsible and unacceptable and we cannot continue down this path.”
