Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks today joined the Abbey Addiction Treatment Center in Bettendorf to celebrate the center’s admission to the TriCare East in-network system. This will expand access to addiction and mental healthcare for military servicemembers, veterans, and their families.

“Care for our military and veterans should be more efficient, more effective, and more accessible—particularly when it comes to mental health,” said Miller-Meeks. “I’m excited the Abbey Center has finally been admitted to the TriCare East in-network system to expand access to healthcare options for our military, veterans, and their families in the Quad Cities area. Servicemembers and veterans risk their lives to serve and protect our country, and it’s our duty to ensure they have access to the best possible care.”

“For anyone seeking healthcare services, the first question that is often asked is ‘will my insurance cover this?’”said Joseph Lemon, founder of the Abbey Center.“With The Abbey’s admission into the TriCare network, this means that millions of veterans will now be able to access our services in the most affordable way possible. We are grateful to Rep. Miller-Meeks and her staff for their assistance in coordinating this important achievement.”
