Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that AgLaunch, a Memphis-based non-profit organization that aims to accelerate the transformation of regional agriculture, will receive a grant of $1.5 million from the Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“This investment in modern farming and improvement of supply chains will create good-paying jobs and strengthen our economy. I am proud of the work that Pete Nelson and his team are doing. He is a credit to Memphis and his hard work led to the award of this grant which will help many in Memphis.”
