The latest episode of U.S. Representative Tim Burchett’s (TN-02) podcast, Tennessee Talks, is now available. In this episode, Randall “Turkey” McNew, owner of Turkey’s Dry Dock, sits down with Rep. Burchett to discuss his business, his book, and life on Norris Lake.
Turkey is a boat repairman and dry dock operator on Lake Norris who grew up in East Tennessee. He wrote a book about his life entitled, “My Life in the Wake of Norris Lake: A personal history of the lake by one of its well-known inhabitants.”
“Turkey has built up a business from the ground up, and it’s become a staple in the Lake Norris area,” said Rep. Burchett. “He’s a good friend of mine with some fun stories, and we had a good time talking about growing up in East Tennessee and the community we both love.”
