Congressman John Moolenaar has cosponsored legislation recognizing the week of October 2-8 as National 4-H Week.
"Agriculture is a vital part of Michigan’s economy, and 4-H helps young people in Michigan become the next generation of leaders our state needs. The 4-H organization does incredible work in our communities and I have seen firsthand the positive impact 4-H has made on the lives of young Michiganders," said Moolenaar.
According to 4-H, it was founded in 1924 and has over 200,000 participating children in Michigan.
