Democratic congressional candidate for Arizona’s 6th District Kirsten Engel released her new television ad ahead of the Nov. 8 General Election. The ad, featuring Kirsten chatting with her teenage daughter Helene, highlights the extreme and dangerous views of Arizona Republican on abortion rights.

“Make no mistake — Juan Ciscomani is just as extreme as Kari Lake and Blake Masters. His dangerous and extreme views on abortion are a threat to women and all Arizonans. With the territorial ban denying women and girls essential health care, our rights are on the line this November. We must defeat Juan Ciscomani,” Engel said,

Ciscomani cheered the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which gave women the fundamental right to choose. Recently, in an Arizona Daily Star interview, Ciscomani voiced his support for a ban on abortion in Arizona without exceptions for rape or incest. Earlier this week, a viral video caught Ciscomani running away from Arizona voters to avoid defending his radical stance on abortion.

"Peas” Script:

Kirsten: You remember my daughter, Helene.

Helene: What’s up with these Arizona Republicans?

Kirsten: Masters, Lake – now Juan Ciscomani. They’re like peas in a pod.

Helene: Peas? AGAIN?

Kirsten: On abortion, they’d let politicians make medical decisions.

Helene: Shouldn’t women do that?

Kirsten: Ciscomani would let states outlaw abortion – no exceptions. Making women and doctors criminals.

Helene: Wait – What?

Kirsten: I’m Kirsten Engel and I approve this message because my daughter’s future, and yours, is at stake.
