MOORESTOWN, NJ – Yesterday, Congressman Andy Kim(NJ-03) held his monthly town hall where he discussed preparing for the holidays, COVID safety, including the Omicron variant, and how we can all help local small businesses this holiday season.

"This year has been rough for a lot of people in our community. Coming together for our last town hall of the year reminded me of the compassion and the togetherness we can achieve when we listen to one another, and hear each other out," said Congressman Kim. "From helping small businesses recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, to helping our neighbors access COVID testing and vaccines, I'm glad this town hall could help people access the resources they need to have a safe, happy, healthy, and fruitful holiday season. From all of us in my office, happy holidays!"

During the town hall, Congressman Kim discussed COVID safety, why getting vaccinated and boosted is important, and what we can all do to support local small businesses.

A full recording of the town hall event can be found by clicking here. Congressman Kim was joined by Abbie Galie, Founder of Destination Medford and Owner of Lower Forge Brewery, and Dr. Michael Kinch, Associate Vice Chancellor at Washington University in St Louis and founder of the Centers for Research Innovation in Biotechnology and Drug Development.

Questions raised by people in both Burlington and Ocean County during the town hall included topics related to COVID-19 testing, how to access testing, vaccines, vaccine effectiveness, how small businesses are doing, and what people can do to support small businesses this holiday season.
