MOORESTOWN – Andy Kim’s lazy new attack ad reveals a candidate concerned about a tightening race, underscores just how out-of-touch he is with his own district, and raises real questions about his own investment portfolio and how much money he has invested in pharmaceutical stocks, charged Healey for Congress Campaign Manager Theresa Velardi today.
“Andy Kim’s desperation is showing,” said Velardi. “His new ad reveals plenty about his listless campaign and how out-of-touch he is with his own district.”
Velardi added: “By attacking Bob Healey’s company, Congressman Kim is quite literally attacking the livelihoods of 1,600 families working – and in many cases, living – in the congressman’s own district. Interesting strategy. We would like to again extend an invitation to the Congressman to come visit this in-district business and meet the hundreds of hard-working employees.”
Additionally, Velardi challenged Congressman Kim to release the names of the individual companies and stocks that comprise the congressman’s nearly one million dollar investment portfolio of mutual funds, retirement accounts, and college savings plans.
“If Andy Kim wants to attack Bob’s investments, then he should reveal the details of his own portfolio,” said Velardi. “Congressman Kim’s Personal Financial Disclosure shows up to nearly $1 million in investments. Are we to believe that none of Rep. Kim’s investments contain pharmaceutical companies or stocks? If so, he should prove it. Release the name of every company and stock that his mutual funds are invested in. Let the public and press review it. What do you say Congressman? You like to talk about transparency… time to be about it.”
Bob Healey added: “We all know Andy is an out-of-touch, career DC insider with no clue how his far-left policies impact people in the real world, but… no self-respecting fisherman would ever go fishing in a dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up. I’m embarrassed for him. As Joe Biden might say, ‘C’mon, man!’”
