Corrupt politicians taking financial contributions from firearms manufacturers claim nothing can be done to end the horrific cycle of gun violence, but the American people reject that position as ridiculous. The truth is that this crisis is not inevitable and that we can and must act urgently to save lives. We must confront the gun lobby not only through traditional legislative means, but by challenging their alleged right to prey on our young people with deceptive and violent advertising.
