MARLTON, N.J. – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) announced he will be holding a town hall on Monday, August 15th at 5:00 p.m. to discuss the Inflation Reduction Act that passed the House earlier today. 

Congressman Kim will discuss how the bill will lower health and energy costs for New Jersey families. He will also talk about his provision in the bill to cap out-of-pocket prescription drug costs so that no senior on Medicare pays more than $166 per month or $2,000 a year for their medication they need.

Congressman Kim is a member of the House Armed Services Committee, the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and the House Committee on Small Business. Since being elected, Congressman Kim has been pushing for Medicare to have the power to negotiate down the cost of prescription drugs.
