RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ — Today, July 4, 2022, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) marched in the Ridgefield Park Fourth of July Parade to celebrate the United States’ 246th birthday and honor all those who have protected and fought for our freedom abroad and at home.

“As we celebrate our nation’s Independence Day, it was great to join North Jersey families, veterans, and first responders in Ridgefield Park to honor all those who protect and fight for our freedom abroad and here at home,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “The hopeful and inspiring words inscribed in the Declaration of Independence and the ideals this nation was founded on are a constant reminder that when we come together, we can accomplish anything. It’s because of days like today and communities like ours that I know that our best days will always be ahead of us, here in the greatest country in the world.”

Gottheimer was joined by Bergen County Executive James Tedesco, Bergen County Commissioner Chairwoman Tracy Zur, Bergen County Commissioner Tom Sullivan, Bergen County Commissioner Germaine Ortiz, Bergen County Commissioner Mary Amoroso, Bergen County Clerk John Hogan, and Ridgefield Park first responders.
