Doug Mastriano for Governor: Tuesday Event to Highlight Hunger Garden 12th Season, Hunger Action Month Food Drive Results

HARRISBURG – Deputy Senate President Pro Tempore Elder Vogel Jr. (R-47) will be joined by hunger awareness advocates on Tuesday, Oct. 18, for an event to highlight the harvest from the 12th season of the Capitol Hunger Garden as well as the results of the Hunger Action Month Food Drive.

The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Capitol Media Center. Sen. Vogel will be joined by Catherine Scott, Penn State Extension Educator/Master Gardner Coordinator; Jane Clements, Chief Executive Officer for Feeding Pennsylvania; and Corrie Lingenfelter, Soup Kitchen Manager for Downtown Daily Bread.
