NORTH JERSEY — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) hosted his 74th “Cup of Joe with Josh” Town Hall on Facebook Live, joined by Maywood Councilmember Jacquie Flynn, to discuss how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill will improve North Jersey’s infrastructure, including ports, roads, rails, and bridges, helping build the Gateway Tunnel, address supply chain issues, create jobs, and boost our local economy.

“Thank you to everyone who participated in my virtual Cup of Joe with Josh Town Hall. It’s always great to connect with residents across the Fifth District,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “I’m going to continue working hard to make life more affordable for North Jersey residents, fix supply chain issues, address our crumbling infrastructure, get critical goods like baby formula to families that need it, and support our law enforcement, veterans, and seniors.”

Maywood Councilmember Jacquie Flynn, speaking about Gottheimer’s bipartisan, bicameral Invest to Protect Act, said, “Right now, we just hired two officers and it was a wonderful day…but we are still understaffed because it is really expensive and anything we can do to get help, so that we can fund our officers in a way that doesn’t blow a hole in our budget, is just absolutely critical, so I really hope that this goes through.”
