As voters get to learn more about John Gibbs after winning the primary for

the Republican nomination, they have come to discover not just a sharp, and eager candidate but

one who doesn’t act like a typical politician who toots his own horn.

This is a problem, according to John’s mother.

“My son is too humble,” says Mary Gibbs, in Gibbs’ first campaign ad to be launched TBA.

Mary Gibbs is featured prominently in the ad here which goes on to share her son’s American

Dream story.

Many voters have come to know and love Mary Gibbs – a proud mother who frequently attends

Gibbs’ town halls and meet and greets and is quick to rattle off her son’s accomplishments.

“John is a hard worker, first in his family to attend college. Stanford and Harvard!” she says in

the ad which then goes on to give a quick summary of Gibb’s rise to the top. Gibbs worked in

Silicon Valley after graduating Stanford with a computer science degree.

Then following a call to service, Gibbs took an untraditional path to live and worked in Japan as

a Christian missionary before returning home several years later to attend Harvard where he

earned his graduate degree in public administration. In 2017, he joined left for Washington,

where he was appointed by President Trump as Acting assistant secretary for Community

Planning and Development at HUD under Secretary Ben Carson.

“A successful businessman but mostly an honest man. I know my son will finally bring common

sense to Washington,” says Mary Gibbs.

The ad will be the first of several spots that will be shown now until November 8. Gibbs is

quickly convincing West Michigan voters that his voice is desperately needed in Congress to

fight Nancy Pelosi and her lock and step Democrats to win back the economy and the country.
